When do I spend one credit?

Let's talk Palette credits - they're simpler than you might think.

One credit is spent when you download a colorized image in its original, high-resolution size without a watermark.

To break it down:

  • Colorizing an image: Free
  • Downloading low-resolution, watermarked version: Free
  • Downloading high-resolution, watermark-free version: 1 credit

See some examples:

  • Low res-watermarked (Free)

  • High Resolution - Watermark free:

The high-definition download button is marked with 'HD' for easy identification.

Remember, you can colorize and preview as many images as you like without using credits. It's only when you're ready for that perfect, print-quality result that you'll use a credit.
