  • Automatic Prompt Generation: Palette can automatically generate descriptive "prompts" for your video frames. These prompts guide the colorization process. Run the code to generate these prompts (the Google Colab notebook should have pre-written code for this).
  • Test Colorization: Palette initially colorizes 20 test frames from your video. Review these frames to assess the colorization quality.
  • Prompt Refinement (Optional): If the initial colorization isn't satisfactory, refine the automatically generated prompts. Add specific details like "clear sky" or "leather hats" to guide the AI.
  • Parameter Adjustments (Optional): Fine-tune the colorization using the available parameters. The source highlights "auto color balance," "white balance," "temperature," and "saturation" as potential adjustments. Experiment with these to achieve the desired look.
  • Final Render: Once you are satisfied with the test frames and settings, initiate the final rendering process for the entire video. This process may take a few minutes.
